This set shows the setting out of Proform Concrete Screed rails in preparation for pouring a concrete slab with fibres. The Proform screed rail (www.proformconcrete.co.uk) provides the levels for the roller striker and provides expansion / contraction joints so to reduce the chance of uncontrolled cracking of the concrete slab over time. Using fibres in the concrete mix reduces the requirement to use steel mesh and in most cases mesh is not required.
